Hi Friends: I hope your summer is going well.

Last time, my family and I were getting ready to travel back to California, 3 years after I felt sick while there for the YALI Mandela fellowship (Read). The trip with Dez and our firstborn was amazing. We returned filled with so much gratitude and memories we’ll cherish for a long time.

The week, just before traveling to California, I said goodbye to my friends at Apple South Shore, where I worked part-time for almost 2 years. I joined them a few months after recovering from my surgery. I worked at a great place with a great team, so saying goodbye was not easy as it was filled with lots of emotions.

I decided to go back to working to shape the future of energy and optimize its usage, through technology, innovation, and market transformation strategies. I started late June (more on that soon).

On a lighter note, July is a Birthday month in our home. Big Brother turned 5 early in the month and the twins turned 1 last week. Happy birthday to our cubs! They surely keep us going, with their energy, tenacity, and humor.

Again, thank you all again for your continued support. Please keep me posted on your own endeavors. Read More.
